Comments: You will feel like you are one of the leaders for the entire day. During my last big climb up Yellow lake I had people running next to me clanging bells and yelling words of encouragement. It was an undescriable feeling. The race from start to finish was amazing.

Comments: PEnticton has plenty of accomodation at all prices and some close to race start. Town is quite large (but not too large) so has everything at your finger tips. Swim is great even with a larg field as it is only one loop so it spreads out. Cycle is basically one big loop with two testing climbs but roads are mostly great surface and you are heading down into town for the last few kms which helps rest you legs for the run. Marathon is the way I like them,out and back, no loops, so you know you are heading home at the turn around. People behind the event are passionate and it shows.

Comments: If you are only going to do one Ironman in a lifetime I would highly suggest doing IMC...........it has been 9 years since I did my last IMC, but the memories live with me to this very day. And bring the family.......a GREAT vacation spot!!
