Comments: Love this race location but never got to finish as this was the hot year with the high drop out and coming off a good finish at Lake Placid that year, I burned up here. I particpated with a group of 13 new women and they had a blast for their first Ironman. I will be going back real soon to get my finisher medal and shirt. Love the swim and the fans, the bike was a lot of ups and downs before coming to an end at about 110KM but I did hear the run was good as well. I watch it all from the side lines. Cheers,
